Have you been looking for that one amazing restaurant near you? Yuraku is the best restaurant in the D.C. area. It is located in Germantown, Maryland. Yuraku always has very good business. Many people rave over their low priced sushi buffet. A few have rated it the best sushi in the D.C. area. Even if you don’t like sushi that much, just bear with me.
First of all the low priced buffet is outstanding. It consists of a variety of sushi, rice, noodles, and regular Japanese meals. You can put all of these favorites on as many plates you want for fifteen dollars. The chefs make the food, especially sushi, with care. It just gives my heart joy when I see that new, beautiful plate of authentic, Japanese sushi. It is truly a rising sun in Germantown. If buffets are really your thing, then you can get a seat at the sushi bar. The kinds of rolls you can get there are endless. Yuraku has some soups that are to die for. My favorite, the miso soup, comes in a bowl with herbs and some tofu cubes. If a nice beer or glace of wine is your thing, don’t worry, there is a ton of it. Even some Asian beers also.
The service at Yuraku is as well very great. The waitresses and waiters are all so kind. It is amazing how they can run around all over the restaurant and still be very kind to you. The chefs at the bar actually talk to you and let you try out some of their specials for free. From my experience at the sushi bar, the chefs have talked to me. The waiters also give you a desert if you tell them that it’s your birthday. They even put your picture on their wall! The woman that is at the front desk is so kind.
The atmosphere of Yuraku is very warm and friendly. When you walk in you can tell that this owner actually wants the customers to enjoy their time here. Others that are eating here are very happy. Everyone seems to have a good time as far as I can tell. The decor is also very authentic from their paintings to the fish shaped soy sauce dishes. There are many stuffed fish on the wall and Japanese sculptures as well. I feel as if I am in a high quality restaurant in Tokyo. Just hold on there, buck o. The wait list is VERY long. At least like ten to thirty minutes each time. This happens since people like it so much there that they stay a long time. Even the waiting room is very small and sometimes you have to wait outside! The worst is when people don’t show and they have been wasting your time. The wait is so long sometimes that you get very restless and so hungry by seeing all the people filling their mouths with sushi. Hey, it only makes it better when you actually get a table. You feel so accomplished.
Yuraku is by far my favorite restaurant. By reading this you can now find that perfect restaurant you want to eat at. But hey, if you don’t like sushi, I can’t change you. Yuraku makes you so full that you think you have the flu. I recommend this to you. If you really like this then tell your friends too!
