What are the best electric guitar strings you ask? In my opinion the best electric guitar strings are slinky by Ernie Ball. I have used many different strings and I always seem to go back to the Slinky cobalt’s. Most of the people that I talk to agree that the strings that come on any guitar are not good and should be changed. Now people’s opinions on what strings you change them to be a different story. Some people say the elixirs are the best, and some people agree with me. I like slinky cobalt’s because they sound great and are easy to play on. When I used elixirs it was harder to move up and down the frets and hit a crisp and clean note. I know other people that can play on their elixirs better than my preference but, it is just because their playing style is different. Also when you are first starting out your fingers hurt when you are moving and down the frets and doing hammers and pull offs. With the slinky cobalt’s they are thin enough to play good but not hurt your fingers. Although when you get better it won’t matter because you will start to form calluses on your finger tips and it will be easier to play without having to stop because your fingers hurt. I believe that slinky cobalt’s are the perfect size string for anyone. When I used other strings I felt like I was struggling to play and not playing that good. When you use strings for a long time you get used to them and Slinky cobalt’s are just that. They are long lasting and are easy to get used to. Some people say that they can’t tell the difference between strings and that is just simply because they haven’t tried enough strings to compare them to. When you have playing for a long time then you have strings to compare them to and how you play them. Lastly when you are playing your guitar you want it to sound good. So when you are deciding what strings you want to put on your guitar consider that you pay what you get for. Now this doesn’t mean that you find the most expensive strings and buy them, it means that you find reasonable priced strings. If you look you will see that slinky cobalt strings are at a very good price for what you are getting. They are 9.99 dollars but, if this is pushing your budget for guitar strings and you don’t understand why you should just trash them. You should just try buying new strings and you probably won’t regret it. As a wrap up the Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt electric guitar strings are the best guitar strings out there. Not only because of the way they feel but because of the clarity they output and how affordable they are. For the price of these strings you can’t go wrong and you won’t be disappointed. For Christmas of 2013 my brother got me a game called Rocksmith 2014 and that game will make you a better player if you are someone that has never even touched a guitar or if you are an advanced player. In this game they advertise slinky cobalt strings and they are right by advertising them because they really bring it and they are amazing. Slinky cobalt guitar strings really bring it and play great. They are affordable and are the only guitar strings made out of cobalt. They give a great and clean output and are the perfect thickness. Along with individually packing each string in their plastic bag to keep the strings form getting damaged. That is why I strongly believe that Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt electric guitar strings.
