Last summer, I ate at Pizzazz Pizza in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. It was my favorite place to eat. This winter, I ate at Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria, where the pizza was so much tastier than that of Pizzazz Pizza. The service was also much more convenient than that of Pizzazz Pizza. Also, Pizzazz Pizza is closed in the winter, while Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria stays open! If you are visiting the Outer Banks in any season, Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria is a great place to eat out. Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria is a small, yet inviting pizzeria on Virginia Dare Trail at Mile Post 12. This convenient location is just off the North Croatian Highway north of the Wright Brothers Memorial. The N. Croatian Highway is the highway that runs through Nags Head and Kitty Hawk, and is basically the main way of getting around. One reason you should chose Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria for your OBX dinner is the pizza, of course! Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria offers many types of pizza. The pizza is always fresh off the oven, so you’ll have to wait a few minutes for it to cool. Once your pizza has cooled, you will know the wait was worth it. The cheese is thick, so you get the cheese taste, but not too thick so you can still taste Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria’s authentic sauce. Although Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria makes amazing pizza, they also make amazing appetizers. Their mozzarella sticks are just as good as those from formal restaurants. As I said earlier, Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria serves better pizza than Pizzazz Pizza, and other pizzerias in Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria is defiantly a great place to go for a tasty dinner, but what else makes this establishment better than the rest? Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria has great food for good prices. It costs $10.95 for a small pizza, which has 6 10” slices. A large pizza, which has 8 14” slices, costs $12.95. Toppings cost $1.50 for small pizzas and $1.75 for large pizzas. All beverages, including Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Root beer, Mr. Pibb, pink lemonade, coffee, bottled water, and unsweetened iced tea, cost $1.95. If you have been to the Outer Banks, you know how expensive food can be. These are great prices for pizza in OBX. You can go in, grab a small pizza, a Coke, and an order of mozzarella sticks for $19.85! This is a great price for a dinner in the Outer Banks. Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria in the Outer Banks, NC has great food for a great price. Is there anything else? Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria has great food, great prices, and service. Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria has an A sanitation rating. The restaurant is very clean, from the tables to the floor to the bathroom, nothing is ever noticeably dirty. The service at Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria is amazing. Waiters will take your order and serve it as quick as possible. The staff at Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria are very polite and try to make your visit as great as possible. The only downside to the service is just like the service at every other restaurant in the Outer Banks. In the winter, service is very quick because the place is not busy. In the summer however, Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria has a very long wait because of all the tourists at that time. Even though they are busy, the service is still quicker than others even though Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria has less staff. This proves that the staff at Daredevil’s Authentic Pizzeria is very responsible about how they get things done.
