Dicks Sporting Goods Review I made a wise decision to go to Dicks Sporting Goods to make my next purchase on a firearm. They have many good qualities and only one or two negative qualities. I was very interested on how much I learned on the firearm I purchased. The service was extremely good, they weren’t biased, but they also gave their point of view on the firearm, and they tell you a lot about it or if it is right for you. For god sakes there are other gun stores where they don’t even tell you about the gun they just make you sign some papers, pay and you’re good to go. But that didn’t happen with Dicks Sporting Goods. But don’t get me wrong, there are very good gun stores that are better than Dick’s that I have heard about. Dick’s does have a few negative points to its gun service. For instance, they do not give you a trigger lock for your gun. They give you a plug that you have to manually put in yourself. So, when you walk to your car with your gun you will not have a trigger lock on your gun. If you wanted one you would have to buy one. But, they do avoid this safety issue by having to walk the gun two feet out of their store. This avoids people to stay in the store and let’s say they load a gun and start killing people, the manager walking the gun two feet out of the store avoids that problem. This is part of their store policy. People who do not buy their firearms from Dick’s are most likely not getting the same benefits as if they would buy from Dick’s. Well for one, is what I said before about how dick’s employees give you a lot of knowledge on your gun. But not only was that, at bass pro shops their Remington 870 express 12 gauge shotgun was on sale for $299 and the price was originally $519. At dick’s sporting goods the Remington was originally $479 and on sale for $215. There is also a lot of good choices when it comes to hunting. For instance, they sell skeet shooters for cheap but are also good qualities. They do this with most of there items. Also, they even sell nice shoes! If you buy shoes there some of them that you can get at foot locker that will be cheaper at Dick’s. Sure, Dick’s Sporting Goods might not be as nice or as big as bass pro shops or other stores, but you will either get the same benefit or a better benefit. I recommend Dicks Sporting Goods if you are interested in purchasing a firearm, or anything camping and sports related.
