YouTube Application Review You may know YouTube as the home of many videos that have gone viral or comedians, crafts and all sorts of creativity overall expressing the interesting ways of the internet. On YouTube, you can upload any kind of video onto the internet as long as you follow protocol and also have an account. Created in 2005, YouTube gave hope to many individuals trying to show off their abilities and imagination. After nearly ten years success, YouTube has made billions of dollars and is still progressing. Smartphones began come out to the public around 2010, so YouTube invested time and money to make an app for these portable devices that is now one of the most downloaded applications. On your device, the YouTube app allows you to be able to access videos, upload and so much more. With constant updates, the YouTube app is revamping its interface, fixing glitches, and simply making user friendly for everyone. The YouTube app has many features, choices, and gives you the same options the website gives you. The app is always being updated to fix glitches and add in new options. Like any other app, YouTube has had some rough times with bugs, but they have always found their way around. Though the app glitches and is always in the making, YouTube is by far my favorite app. The YouTube app contains many splendid features to its interface. For starters, it contains a side bar menu that can be accessed simply by swiping your finger to the right, across the screen. This menu gives you so many options such as your subscription list, liked videos, history, what to watch, your account and general settings. The sidebar also gives you numbers to indicate how many videos are unseen by a specific category or subscription. Also, at the very bottom, if you scroll down, you will find popular videos for sports, humor and all kinds of categories. But overall, with the sidebar, I can easily access any information for the most part I am in need of. My favorite feature of the YouTube app is the power to change the quality of your video you are watching. These changes come in 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 780p, being the best, and auto. When I can barely make out what is going on in the video because of the quality, the YouTube app gives me the option to fix it. This will make your life a lot easier, knowing how to make the video picture much crisper and the audio clearer. There are a lot more features this helpful app comes with but once again, that feature is by far favored amongst the rest. The YouTube app puts the seeming infinite website onto your mobile device. In my opinion; that is simply magnificent. Now, there are small tweaks constantly being made. For instance, the audio will keep playing when the picture has stopped. Even though this is one of my many complaints towards the app, it can be easily fixed by myself. Internet connection also plays a role in the quality of the video. But, as it seems, the YouTube app creators are constantly fixing and listening to our opinions on what can make the app easier to navigate and to fix small glitches. As I said before, the YouTube app is always in the making and it is always finding creative ways to improve.

Obviously, if you own an iPhone, you can just go on Safari and search up the YouTube website. The app however, is much easier to navigate than the website on your phone. Your app can have you logged in every time you visit the app, but with the website, that simple task just became quite a bit harder. This app is revolutionizing the way we use the internet to search up our favorite videos. This app not only utilizes easy use, but it also shows us the internet community. It gives suggestions to many things based on what we have been watching. This is how I found some of my favorite accounts on YouTube. The suggestion box shows me viral videos that would seem to my liking and also shows me hilarious accounts. This one feature is what unites me with millions of others just looking for a good laugh, perhaps a cool craft or even a music video… The list goes on, but this feature unites many of which who enjoy YouTube. Overall, the YouTube app is an excellent place to just lose yourself in all the videos (I know I have). The YouTube app does many things no app could ever do. It keeps us connected with the world. It suggests to us new videos and gives us tips to navigate the app itself. This app shows us the creativity of the internet in its various forms. YouTube is the home for millions.
