The Pinokio Speed is a great hopper for the price. It costs about $100 compared to the $170- $210 range. Paintball is a sport where your gear means winning and losing. Your gear needs to be able to keep up with your playing style. Especially your hopper, it needs to be able to feed your firing rate without breaking, jamming, being too slow, or having other flaws.
Many hoppers, unlike the Speed, have many flaws. The Dye Rotor jams very often, even when using high quality paint. Even when you hit the unjam button, it doesn’t do much. You still have to take off the top shell of the hopper and manually pull out the jammed or broken paintball. It also heavier than the Pinokio. If you go to bunker someone and your hopper jams, you’re getting shot out.
The spire is heavy, it weighs about 1.5 pounds. It is also very slow compared to its counterparts. It is only pumping out about 20+ balls per second. Also the style of the Spire is not very good, it kind of looks like a boat. It is funny because it’s waterproof on the inside.
The Empire Z2 hopper falls apart on you. Jacob Edwards, on Tampa Bay Damage, ran into the snake against Houston Heat. His nose cone on the Z2 fell off and his paint spilled everywhere and he couldn’t feed paint. He got shot out pretty fast. The Pinokio never falls apart unintentionally. I know this because I have used the Pinokio speed for almost a year.
The Pinokio has never jammed, fallen apart, been too heavy, or had any flaws aside from it being ugly as Hilary Clinton. The only color the speed comes in is black. All of the hoppers I have compared the Pinokio to are at least somewhat customizable. The PSP balls per second rate is 10.2 bps. The Pinokio can handle 30+ bps. I don’t think you will have a problem with that.
The Pinokio Speed is an affordable, light, and it’s one of the fastest hoppers on the market. The spire is heavy, the Pinokio is light. The other hoppers all cost about $200, the Pinokio is $100. It shoots around 30+ balls per second, aside from the Z2 and the Rotor, the Pinokio is the fastest hopper on the current market. Although it’s ugly as the dumbest women in America, Hilary Clinton, and its looks grow on you and the features it has make up for it. All in all, it is an amazing hopper for the money.
