  1. Bustin 5-0 In Deep

Do you want to dump thane, while having the easiest initiation and longest slide possible? All these awesome aspects of a longboard wheel can be found within the Bustin 5-0 In Deep. The Bustin 5-0 is one of the best wheels on the market, many professionals recommend them. For the price and size of the wheel you can’t go wrong.

The Bustin 5-0 In Deep was developed in 2010 By Bustin Brooklyn. They were developed for today’s modern free riders in mind. The 5-0 is superb compared to any other wheel on the market. These wheels come with a cost of $46 on the bustinboards.com

The Bustin 5-0 is a 72mm tall, the durometer is 80a (how hard a wheel is) free ride wheel. The side set nature combined with the gummy (slidey with minimum grip), buttery (slidey with control) urethane makes it ideal for sliding. These wheels ware very evenly but still cone because of the side set core. The core being side set allows for easy ignition when they’re new but they give more grip as you get close to the core. These wheels start with a 38mm contact patch (the part of the wheel that touches the road), the overall width is 47mm.These wheels also come is a 77a, but the 80a is more geared towards beginners and experts.

The 5-0 holds its shape very well and are resistant to flat spot and ovalizing. They come with a stone ground finish, this is a real stone ground finish, most other wheels have a break-in from the stone ground but the Bustin 5-0 is pre-broken in. They leave thane on the first slide.

The thane lines they leave are as white and pure as snow. They also have an awesome black and clear graphic with a picture of a cop car and a doughnut. These wheels are not designed for downhill. The 5-0 is also a slide jam killer, they slide on top of the road giving you maximum distance combined with maximum thane.

The core is a mids (in the middle of the wheel) core. This core allows the lips to flex but also still an easy kick out. The Lips help to grip corners but still break traction with ease.

The wear pattern of this wheel is highly consistent. When you finish a big slide you can sometimes rub your finger in the wheel and polyurethane (what the wheel is made of) will come off on your finger. These wheels are also capable of caking your trucks in thane. What this means is so much urethane is coming off at one time that some of the urethane goes onto your truck and gets stuck to it because it’s super-heated and somewhat melts. My two favorite things are big thane lines and caked trucks.

The initiation of these wheels are comparable to a Cadillac swinger or remember hoots. The size and shape are comparable to an Abec 11 Flash Back, but the 5-0 is 2mm taller than the Flash Back. Both wheels are also side set. The Bustin 5-0 wears at the same rate of a Pink Powerball and a 70mm Rayne envy. The best part of the 5-0 is the huge thane lines they leave, the amount and brightness of the thane lines compare to no other wheel, they’re so amazing. You should defiantly try the 70mm, 80a, Bustin in deep 5-0.
