Bob Evans Restaurant in Germantown Bob Evans is clearly the best restaurant to go to. With great service, an array of rich, delicious foods, and a great staff and maintained building. You will find that it is also a good place to go for a birthday dinner out of the house, no matter the age. There aren’t many other restaurants around like this one. In Bob Evans, you are allowed to eat any meal, any time. Breakfast for dinner, lunch for breakfast, and so on. You can’t be restricted because they don’t stop making it after certain hours unlike other restaurants. Not only that but the food doesn’t take too long or too short amounts of time to be made. This ensures that the food is not undercooked nor cold. Your food will come out tasting warm and fresh. You also have the wide variety of condiments, such as: sugar, Splenda® (fake sugar), salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, Tabasco©, and more. Ready for dessert? Well you are in for a surprise. Bob Evans has fresh, warm, chewy cookies, ice cream that is not just that plain old vanilla, sundaes in a variety of choices, and cakes for those special occasions such as birthdays, or just because. You will feel as if you are in a Baskin Robins®. The service at Bob Evans is amazing also. Their team of waiters and waitresses are very nice, and are very smart also in the sense of how well they can remember and bring all your food at once. They’ll help ensure that you will have a great experience out of the house. There are tables and booths available for wherever you want to be. The tables can either be by the window, but if you aren’t a window person and you like to have some privacy, there is a little enclosed area of the restaurant with some tables and booths. I’d imagine you can have a big group of people in there together if you wanted to. At the booths there are glass dividers that are too opaque and cloudy to see through, have a nice design, but can also be pulled down so the people in one booth can talk to the people in the booth next to each other. This will allow you to come to the restaurant with a larger group of people without being separated. A well air-conditioning and heating system is installed in the building and there are fans all over to distribute the hot or cool air depending on the season.Little kids always get bored and fidgety when they are required to sit and act nice for a while so Bob Evans has a couple of crayons that they will give to them along with a type of word puzzle and a picture to color. Best part is that they can bring the crayons that they were given home. Also if a little one wants some candy, at the front desk where they bring you to your table they also sell candy.Now about the bathrooms. There is a downside to this restaurant in that fact that it’s bathrooms have an air dryer, and if I recall correctly, one stall (at least for the men’s room) Personally, I prefer paper towels because the air dryer is just blowing the air around and it’s hot. If water isn’t hot enough, but just warm, germs will actually grow faster. So then it will have to burn your hands to clean them, plus the water blows down your shirt, jacket, or arms. The sensor faucets are nice though. I’ve had wonderful experiences at Bob Evans over the years. There are always good and bad times though. Sometimes you’ll get that clumsy or little bit ignorant waiter or waitress, but humans make mistakes, don’t blame it on the restaurant. Bob Evans is by far the best restaurant to go to in the area.
