Rabil X

  1. The Rabil X is a lacrosse head. It was made by Warrior for an MLL player named Paul Rabil. It is a very agile and light head and I have used it for almost a year now. It is strung with Polar Mesh and a mid-high pocket. I play midfielder and attack with it and it is pretty good for what I do. There are many reasons why I think this.

It is very consistent. I have played for a very long time with it and it is still very consistent. Consistency with a lacrosse stick is where when you throw the ball it goes to the same spot that it did the last time every time if you throw the ball the same way. If you string this stick with a low pocket it is not as consistent but if you string it with a mid to high than it will be very consistent. Also it is a very good head for its price of around one hundred dollars.

I have played with this head for over a year and I still love it. It is good for playing attack but if you play middy or defense you may have a problem with it. It is extremely flexible, so it is hard to guard people with because poking people with it does not hurt, but if you play attack, its flexibility will be beneficial in your shooting. Also it is good for attack because the pinch is nice and the ball will not come out easy if you do get poked.

One reason that I do not like the head is because if you are playing in the heat or playing on the box the head bends and warps very easily. It warps even more if you try to face off, and the flexibility makes it hard to clamp, and if you do clamp it, the pinch makes the ball not come out. To make my head so it does not warp as bad I had to remove it from the shaft put a soft ball in it than microwave it and put it in the freezer afterwards. This worked pretty well, but it still warps very easily.

As you can probably tell, I like the Rabil X and I believe that if you are going to play attack this would be a good head for you. There is many stringing holes which will make it easier to string it how you want to. Thank Warrior, and Paul Rabil, for designing this awesome head.
