Smash bros. 3d is a game were you play as your favorite Nintendo characters and beat the crap out of other Nintendo characters. Right now it’s my favorite handheld game. The best part of this game is playing with friends. Car rides where I have played this game with a friend seems a million times faster. Sometimes frame rates can be low if a friend has bad connection but most of the time it runs quite fast. But if you don’t have a friend with the game there is still a lot to do by yourself. One of the great modes you can play by yourself is smash run. Smash run is where you run around killing as many enemies to get stat boosts before the time runs out. Wasn’t the time runs out you have to do other challenges against the computer players to win prizes. Another great thing about this game is how good it looks. With the 3d turned off the game looks great, but when you turn the 3d on the game looks amazing. They did a great job on the shading of the character and stages. Now onto the bad things, one thing that bothers me a lot is how small the screen is. It’s weird going from playing other smash bros. games on a big HD TV to playing it on a small 5 inch screen, so if you are going to buy this game and a 3ds buy the 3ds XL. The last thing that bugged me about the 3ds version of the game is that is has so few stages compared to the character roster of 50 some characters. Other than those few problems and the frame rate at times this is a great games. This is my favorite smash bros. game yet. The graphics are way better than any other smash bros. games. It runs so smoothly and it is more fast paced then the previous smash bros. game. The character selection is also the best of all the smash bros. games. There is more characters than any other game. There are a lot of clone characters but most of the characters are great. Overall Smash bros. For the 3ds is a great game. It is almost perfect and if this is the last smash bros. game than I would be happy. And that is my favorite smash bros. game.
For years Nintendo has given us amazing classics such as, Mario, Donkey Kong, Pokémon and much more! But in this game series they all come together, to fight! There are 48 characters and Mii fighters that you can customize just for you. And if you don’t know what Mii’s are, they are characters that you can make to look like you on the Wii u and 3ds. There are also stages that you can play on that are also based on Nintendo games such as Temple from the Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario world Wii U from Super Mario Bros. This Game also has different modes you can play on like All-Star mode, where you have to defeat each character in the game in reverse chronological order. In classic mode you choose from randomly generated battle scenarios and fight for 5 rounds then you fight 20 Mii fighters and lastly you fight master and crazy hand. You can also fight master and crazy hand in master orders or crazy orders. You can fight in different battle scenarios that have a certain purpose in events, for example. In the event past their bedtime you play as jigglypuff and try to put bowser jr, ness, and toon link to sleep. You can fight people around the world in online mode. Last but not least you can fight each other in smash, add special rules in special smash, and play with 8 people at once in 8 player smash.
Nintendo has also made super smash bros on the N64 which had a sequel super smash bros melee on the GameCube and then they made super smash bros brawl on the Wii. And then came out this game.
You should buy this game because now you can customize your characters. Sometimes when you’re playing in all-star or classic mode you will win moves or equipment that you can give to your characters to strengthen them. There are three categories for the equipment defense, attack, and speed.
But making Mii fighters is one of the really cool parts of this game. Making Mii fighters lets you turn the harmless Mii you made into a powerful brawler, gunner, or swordfighter. Each one has their own unique moves, outfits, and hats. But some mii fighters can’t get some equipment like a swordfighter can’t put on punching gloves.
Have you ever been the 5th wheel when you come to a friend’s house to play games? Well now you’ll never be again because in this game you can play with at most 8 people in 8 player smash! You can make 4 teams of two, 3 teams of 1 and one of two or make 2 teams of three, the possibilities are endless!
You can also play online with random people or friends in online mode where it can be for glory or for fun. You can either fight with 2 teams of 2 or just all verse each other. For fun enables all items and losses aren’t counted. But for glory all items are disabled and losses are counted.
In the end in the competition between Xbox and ps4, the Wii U obviously wins because it has games like these on it.
